The Municipality of Århus was creating a new approach in the broader field of Social Services Care. They wanted to include the consumers and the direct stakeholders in this process to get their input on how the policy should be shaped. For this they have identified five groups of stakeholders they would like to get input from. This was done through a series of workshops and interviews where the participants can share their input.
Our task was to enable a task force from the municipality to host these workshops. We provided a very compressed and effective training in basic facilitation skills and introduction to participatory processes. This combined with ongoing coaching of the taskforce made for a succesful inclusion in the preparation of the policy.
