Focus Areas

These are my focus areas in life and when going into a work situation. I want to explore, train and engage these capacities and skills in all that I do.

Leadership

Sustainability

Intuition

I see Intuition as the the capacity to transform inspiration and unexplained input into words and actions. It is the act of accessing and making visible the ideas and inspiration that have no apparent obvious origin.

I think being conscious of our intuition and giving it space is a key part of creativity, innovation and personal leadership.

Collective Intelligence

Collective intelligence is what happens when individuals come together and set their own agendas aside to look at what is alive for the whole of the group. Some of the key practices for CI is dialogue, inquiry, self-organization, and taking responsibility for ones own ego.

I think there is the potential to engage the collective intelligence of any group and focusing on what the highest potential of this group is.

Learning

Learning happens all the time, especially for children. We seem to be less apt for learning as we grow older. When we are seven years old we have learned 90% of the things we will learn in our life.

That said, I think when making a conscious effort to develop and learn from the challenges that inevitable will face us, we are able to keep that learning muscle fit that we are granted with as children. It is about not being afraid to fail and fall down. It is about taking risks and being inherently curious about everything.

Source

I see source as the place we act from. The underlying intention of what we do. The deepest place of our inspiration. The place from which truly radical innovation emerges. I see it as the source of who we really are and the sense of why we are here. It is the place from where you set your self in service of something larger than your self. Source is the life that permeates all living beings.

I think by connecting to source we are able to access true wisdom, and take truly wise actions that can change our world.
